Anyone have a few nice panorama images they can share for display in our demo gallery? I wish to make a demo folder for our demo gallery, displaying panorama images in an optimized way. Credit will be given in descriptions!

Karl, just have a look at my other site!

http://panomagic.eu/

and tell me if something catches your eyes!

or if you don't need 360/180, take a look at the panoramic section here:

http://www.geopalstudio.com/v2g/

Best, G

Thanks a lot. I will pinch a few panorama snaps for you if you are ok with this, add credits, and notify you once the demo folder is up!

It is hard to compete with the many beautiful panoramas from GeoPal :) , but nevertheless here are some panos from me:

Thank you Martin, but yours are not at all bad!!! I mean they are great! I have seen them but now I have the chance to tell you I enjoy them much!

Karl, no worries, if you like something and/or need them at higher res, just drop a line!
Best, G

Same here...

And just to note something from an earlier topic:
It would be great if the showing of panos (360 degree VR or autoscrolling) would one day be incorporated in Imagevue itself!
It never hurts to repeat something :)

Thanks the both of you! GeoPal: your photos are stunning, but I didn't use them because I was generally looking for a few very wide(long) photographs ...

I added a folder here:
https://www.photo.gallery/demo/x2/#/content/ ... /panorama/

I did notice issues with Imagevue when trying to set up a folder for panorama images, so I do understand why you want improvements.

They are indeed!

Well, the result is not bad at all...

I only saw that the title and the folderdescription cannot always be seen... sometimes it shows... sometimes just half of it...
(setting 'image.text.text1.items=title,folderdescription')

Karl, please download the pano of the Altiplano again... there was a grey part on the right that was not nice... I removed it...
http://www.martinbroeze.nl/images/pano% ... iplano.jpg

The improvements that would be nice are, as I said before, the possibility to autoscroll... in that case a 360 degrees cylindrical image can scroll endlessly... and the possibility to view 360 degrees inside of spheres... just like the ones GeoPal has a lot of... (the VR Panoramas)

EDIT: Ah.. I saw that you changed the width of some of the panos... I did some experimenting earlier and noticed too that especially the very wide one of Chacaltaya will not scroll enough to the right to show all of it when it is too wide...

Martin: Updated your bolivia picture.

# Yes, something strange with descriptions. They should be detaching themselves from image top left, and stay within the screen if there is room for them.

# Yes, the SWF player has limitations to image size pr pixel dimensions ... I am not quite sure what the exact limitation is. My tests showed that it could display images at 2800px width, so I resized them to this ... Larger than this, and flash cuts of parts of the image.

Hi Karl, you didn't update it, you added it. Now there are two of them and the newer one has a smaller thumbnail.

Hi Karl, you deleted the wrong one... now the one with the grey part on the right still exists... :)
